This ruling places a clear economic burden on low wage women, who will face greater difficulty in affording common contraceptives. The fact it that health care decisions should be between a patient and their doctor, not an employee and their boss.

There have been an outrageous number of attacks on women’s health care and economic security in recent years – from budget cuts and reduced funding for cancer screenings to vetoes of legislation that would have helped address wage inequality and domestic abuse.
