Working Families United for New Jersey, Inc. is proud to announce its first annual Fundraiser and Community Awards Event to be held at Newark Symphony Hall on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. This event provides an opportunity to honor three outstanding champions of our community, to thank coalition partners for their incredible work, and to enable us to continue moving forward in our mission to empower and uplift New Jersey’s working families.

2014 Community Champions

Thanks to your support last year, we joined together to successfully spearhead the “Raise the Wage” campaign which provided over 400,000 hard-working New Jerseyans with a raise. With your continued support we will once again take the lead on initiatives such as earned sick leave, school repairs, and immigration reform to advance social and economic justice for our communities.

We look forward to having you join us to celebrate our combined achievements and to begin a new surge of community advocacy for our state’s families.
